What's Happening @ DACS?

On Tuesday, our school opens its doors for the 2024/25 school year.

Once again, this year, we will have an opportunity to provide educational excellence. Together with you, the parents, we will help the DACS students to grow in their ability to become discerning Reformed Christians. Opportunities will be given for them to function as salt and light in their classroom and beyond. They will be encouraged in their work, play, and in all that they do to give God
the glory.

Please join us on Tuesday, September 3rd at 9:00am for our opening assembly, as we excitedly kick off the school year. Look forward to seeing you there!

With thankfulness to our God for bringing them to this milestone in their lives, we invite you to attend the graduation of our Grade 8 students. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024, starting at 8:00pm in the DACS gymnasium. All are welcome to join us as we celebrate our graduates:

You are invited to our closing assembly TODAY (Thursday, June 13) starting at 2:45pm in the gym.

At this assembly we get to look back at this school year with a slideshow and say goodbye to the Grade 8 students before they go on their Grad Trip Adventure. We will also find out which of the school teams has won the “Rubber Chicken Award!’

Hopefully we see you there!

Field day is TOMORROW!

Here is a list of things to keep in mind for the day:

➔ Lunches: Please remember to pack your children a nutritious lunch with good snacks to help
fuel their bodies for the day. Remember to LABEL all water bottles!
➔ Sunscreen/bug spray: If you need your child to apply sunscreen throughout the day, please
send it along. Mosquitoes are also out in force, so some bug spray might also come in handy.
➔ A hat would be a good idea as well!

Field Day Volunteers:

Thank you for your help! Please check in at the library (times listed below) to meet with a staff member to go over some details for the day. Event leaders will pick up supplies for their event, along with instructions. Group leaders will pick up clipboards with information and directed where to go.

➔ Morning Events volunteers and Group Leaders: please check in at the library at 8:45am
➔ Afternoon Events volunteers: please check in at the library at 12:35pm.
