What's Happening @ DACS?

The Grade 8 class at DACS is running a can & bottle drive as a fundraiser for their year end trip to Fair Havens. Please save your empties!

Drop Off: Empties can be dropped off at the home of Lucy Doekes, Addisyn Kottelenberg or Jacob deJonge, or at DACS on Saturday, May 30th by 10am.

Pick up: Available in Orangeville and Grand Valley areas

We will pick up your empties on or before Saturday, May 30th. Please email Melissa and Addisyn at brian.kottelenberg@gmail.com or text 519-944-4409 to be added to the pick-up list.

We are excited to welcome Grandparents and Special Ones of our DACS students on Thursday, April 23rd for Grandparents Day!

Coffee, tea and baking will be served over recess, from 10:30-11:00am. Classroom visits will follow from 11:00-12:15pm, with a delicious soup lunch served to top it all off! A friendly reminder our school is scent-free, and we ask that grandparents do not bring treats for the students.

We look forward to sharing this beautiful day with you!

Students, volunteers and staff have been working incredibly hard for “A Dangerous Journey” musical!

You have two opportunities to view this wonderful musical:

Next week Wednesday is our dress rehearsal, beginning at 1:30 p.m. You do not need to reserve tickets for the dress rehearsal.

On Friday April 10th at 7:30 p.m. we will have our big performance. Tickets can be reserved by going to the following link: www.dacslaurel.ca/musical.

We will be accepting donations to help cover the cost of the play (cash, cheque, or e-transfer: dacsfinance@gmail.com (earmarked school musical)). There will be additional parking at the church beside the school.

Come join us for this wonderful performance, as we are reminded of what Christ has done for all of us. His death on the cross has paved the way for a heavenly city that is prepared for us!
