DACS Closing Assembly

Posted on 6 June 2025 in Events

Join us for an afternoon of celebration and a few heartfelt goodbyes at our closing assembly this Friday, June 13th beginning at 2:40pm in the gym.

We’ll take a moment to look back at the amazing memories we’ve made this school year and give a warm send-off to our Grade 8 students as they get ready for their Grad Trip Adventure. And of course… the moment we’ve all been waiting for: Which school team will win the legendary Rubber Chicken Award?

Lost and Found: All items in the Lost and Found will be removed after the closing assembly. Please take a moment to check the collection while you’re here—you might rediscover something you’ve been missing!

Science Fair Update!

Posted on 6 February 2025 in Events

Scientists like to plan, but ultimately the Great Scientist determines our path.   “For to the snow he says, ‘Fall on the earth,…” (Job 37:6) Can any human scientist do that?  Thankfully we are able to replan and reschedule.

The Lord willing, we will be moving the science fair to Monday, Feb. 10,  with a noon open house.  The gym will be open for viewing from 12:30pm – 1:30pm, with announcements happening at about 1:00pm.  You are invited to come talk to the students about their hard work and learn many new things yourself!

Projects will be staying at school, and most will be available for viewing during Parent-Teacher interviews next week Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Hebrews 12:1

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us…
